Freeing Our Families from Perfectionism/A Sense of Purpose

Two Worship Committee sponsored sets of readings and sermons (9:30AM & 11:00AM) from The Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair by Revs. Shana and Melora Lynngood.

Today we welcome our presenters, Revs. Shana and Melora Lynngood, to our pulpit. Revs. Shana and Melora Lynngood live in Washington DC with their 3 year old daughter. Rev. Shana has served as Parish Minister of James Reeb UU Congregation in Madison, WI and currently serves as Associate Minister at All Souls Church, Unitarian in DC. Rev. Melora has served as Parish Minister of UU congregations in Newport, RI and Sacramento, CA. She is currently taking an extended “sabbatical” from parish ministry to be a full time stay-at-home mom, though she also does occasional guest preaching, rites of passage, and leads workshops for congregations in the Joseph Priestly District of the UUA.
